Have you heard of Gaia before? If so, you likely know we’ve been developing for 30 years, creating solutions for clients like Stadium, Returpack, and Holmen. Five years ago, we got the opportunity to start working with Östgötatrafiken, which plans and operates the public transport in the county. This led us on a journey into a world filled with buses, timetables, vehicle technology, and real-time information. 

Data Analysis & AI for the Future of Sustainable Travel

Today, Public Transport is a strategic growth area for us, and we offer products and services to the industry’s authorities and operators. Data analysis and AI are very interesting for the industry. In the autumn of 2023, we started a prestigious project with Sweden’s largest transport authority, SL, to lay the foundation for their new data platform.

The Technology You’ll Work With at Gaia

We’re among the companies in Sweden that have come the furthest in creating solutions with Microsoft’s data platforms Synapse, Power BI, and Fabric. Within Public Transport, there are also strong incentives to create real-time data analysis and AI-based monitoring.

Our offices are located in the newly built Kopparhusen on Kungsgatan in Norrköping and at Dospace in Linköping, near the central station. Many also take the opportunity to work from home a few days a week.
