Jönköpings Länstrafik Chooses Gaia Public Transport

Gaia has won the procurement for the vehicle computer system for Jönköpings Länstrafik (JLT), responsible for public transport in the County of Jönköping in Sweden. The delivery includes onboard computers and driver screens in 300 buses. Gaia’s cloud-based real-time platform, Gaia Public Transport, will serve as the hub for traffic information for passengers and drivers.

After an extensive procurement process, JLT chose Gaia as their supplier. “We are humbled and grateful for this opportunity. Implementation and modernization
The installation of the new system will take place in the autumn of 2024 and the spring of 2025, to have the entire system operational by the autumn of 2025. It is a significant step towards modernization for JLT, paving the way for continued improvement in traffic information and the passenger experience.
